Friday, March 15 – Public Image Awards:

presented during the afternoon session

  • Club Bulletin – Recognizes the club that best engages its members with its club bulletin

  • Club Social Media – Recognizes the club with the best social media presence, including content and audience

  • Club Website – Recognizes the club with the best website presence

  • Douglas A. Newton: Excellence in Communication – Created in honor of former Downtown Kingsport Rotary Club member, broadcasting personality and Past District Governor Doug Newton to recognize a person or group that has exhibited excellence in communications

  • Public Image – Recognizes the club that best uses media platforms to promote awareness of Rotary and the work of Rotarians

Saturday, March 16 – Service Awards:

PResented during the saturday lunch event

  • Club Service – Recognizes the club that best develops fellowship among members, uses club activities to advance the Objects of Rotary and fosters the family of Rotary

  • Club Partnership Service – Recognizes the club that best facilitates a large project working together with another Rotary club, Rotaract club or organization

  • Community Service – Recognizes the club that best demonstrates “Service Above Self” based on all activities/projects provided to its community

  • International Service – Recognizes the club that best exemplifies international service, especially in the promotion of understanding, goodwill and peace

  • Vocational Service – Recognizes the club that best promotes the Object of Rotary through the work of its members, showing high ethical standards at work and best use of their occupation to make an impact in the community

  • Youth Activities – Recognizes the club that best promotes activities that encourage youth to be productive and involved citizens in their communities

Saturday Evening, March 16 - 110% Awards

Presented after Dr. sylvia whitlock’s remarks

  • 110% Awards – Presented by the District Governor recognizing one Rotarian in each Area who has excelled in carrying out the Rotary Mission by giving 110% effort to strengthening their club, increasing humanitarian service and extending Rotary’s public image

Sunday, March 17 – Participation & Gold Club Awards:

  • Club Attendance – Recognizes the club with the highest percentage of membership attendance at club meetings

  • Conference Attendance – Recognizes the club (other than the conference host club) with the largest number of Rotarians and registered guests attending District Conference

  • Membership Growth – Recognizes the clubs having the highest net membership growth, measured in number or percentage

  • Gold Club Awards – Earned by clubs over a one-year period for excellent accomplishments of service, leadership, Rotary Foundation support, membership and retention, and public relations
